Mirchi 98.3 embarked on their annual tree plantation event, ‘Mirchi Green Yodha’, which is a campaign for planting trees in Vadodara to help nurture Mother Nature. It was recently launched at Sayajigunj. Mirchi Green Yodha is a citizens initiative to make our city greener, to make Vadodara BeauTREEful. This is their green contribution for the beautification of the city.
In the past 6 to 7 years Mirchi has planted around 60,000 trees. Every year Mirchi and VMC collaborate to make the environment green and plush. Mirchi Green Yodha was launched with the launch of Kinetic Green’s showroom. In this activity, Mirchi is giving free saplings in an onus to give back to the environment. Mirchi, along with the citizens of Vadodara has pledged to plant more trees. Along with this, dignitaries were present at the event and also pledged to plant more trees.
Dignitaries like Member of Parliament Ranjanben Bhatt, Mayor Keyur Rokadiya, Standing Committee Chairman Dr Hitendra Patel and Corporator Ritaben Sindh, Manishbhai Pagar and Smit Patel. Along with them Vadodara’s popular comedian Chirayu Mistry also graced the event.
They not only magnified their presence at the event but also planted saplings there and pledged to plant more and to make Vadodara greener. The event was adorned with Mirchi’s popular RJ Mohini and RJ Puja. This campaign of Mirchi is ongoing, where you can also register yourself and take free saplings to plant.
