Mobex celebrated this Raksha Bandhan festival with Visually impaired girls from Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh, Ahmedabad on 29th Aug.
Girls were ecstatic when they were told of the small event Mobex organised for them to tie Rakhi to the employees of Mobex.in to give the courage to all the employees to keep on working towards saving the mother planet by selling refurbished electronics.
There are research & studies by credible sources which states that approx. 13000 litres of water is consumed in the entire process of making the new smartphone thus by selling Premium Quality smartphones, Mobex is contributing towards saving millions of litres of water that can otherwise be used for betterment of daily life.
By selling Refurbished electronics we are not only making attempts to save water but also multiple other natural resources like minerals, trees etc. and are trying to reduce the carbon foortprint on Earth by promoting the use of Refurbished electronics and reducing E-waste.
Mobex also took the initiative of purchasing handmade rakhi’s made by the Visually impaired girls and successfully raised money for about 500 Rakhis. It was a very surreal moment to see the happiness on their faces when they were informed about all their creation being sold out in a matter of minutes.
Our entire team is very grateful for their presence and are hopeful to be blessed enough to host a bigger group of these talented and delightful group of women in coming days.
