- Morari Bapu may visit Jantrakhadi on Sunday, June 26, to show his solidarity with the victim’s family

Kathakaar Morari Bapu, who is presently in Badrinath for reciting the Manas Vyasgufa Katha, on Saturday condemned the Jantrakhadi rape and murder, sought justice for the minor daughter.
The rape and gruesome murder of an eight-year-old girl in Jantrakhadi village of Gir Somnath’s Kodinar taluka has sent shockwaves through the entire sadhu samaj. There is widespread anger and resentment all over Saurashtra and Gujarat following the incident.
Expressing the feelings of the entire sadhu samaj, respected kathakaar Morari Bapu, who is presently in Badrinath to reciting the Manas Vyasgufa Katha, said, “I have been travelling for the past many days. I am presently in Badrinath for the Katha. This is why I just learnt about the heinous incident involving the daughter of Dashnaam Sadhu Samaj. I am extremely saddened upon learning about this heinous crime committed by some demons.”
Morari Bapu said that he has expressed his anguish about the incident while speaking with leaders of the Dashnaam Goswami Sadhu Samaj.
“I have also sought strict action against perpetrators of such crimes to ensure that the daughter gets justice,” he said, adding that if the weather permits, he would travel straight to Jantrakhadi village on Sunday, June 26 on the day of completion of the Katha, to pay his tributes to the daughter.”
Morari Bapu also spoke with the father of the unfortunate girl over the phone and expressed his condolences over the incident.
