Spiritual leader and Ram katha exponent Morari Bapu has donated Rs 1.25 lakh to the flood affected people of Kerala on Monday, says a release from Shree Chitrakutdham Trust Talgajarda.
Kerala has witnessed heavy rains which caused rivers to overflow, cutting off towns and villages. At least 24 people have been killed in floods and many are still missing. Considering the catastrophic situation of the state, Spiritual leader and well known Ram katha exponent Morari Bapu has extended a financial support of Rs 1.25 lakh to the flood affected people.
He discussed about the flood situation of the state with the Kerala Governor over telephone. He expressed his sorrow for the affected people. The amount will be transferred to the Relief fund account of the Governor from Shree Chitrakutdham Trust Talgajarda.
