AHMEDABAD, MAY 2
In a tragic incident, 11 persons, including three children, died after inhaling poisonous gas in a gas leak at a factory in the Giaspura area of Ludhiana district in Punjab on Sunday.
Noted kathakaar and spiritual leader Pujya Morari Bapu has offered his tributes to the deceased persons. He has also extended consolation financial assistance of Rs 11,000 to each of the victims. The total assistance of Rs 1,21,000 has been handed over to the families of the 11 victims.
Morari Bapu also offered prayers at the feet of Lord Hanuman for Nirvana for the deceased souls and extended his sincere condolences to the bereaved families. The consolation assistance is being delivered to the families by a Ram Katha listener in Punjab.
The Punjab Government has also announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to those who were injured in the incident. In addition to the financial aid, the government has also provided all medical support required.
