Noted spiritual leader and kathakaar Morari Bapu has extended financial assistance of Rs 11,000 to the families of each of the Uganda boat mishap victims, says Shri Chitrakoot Dham in Talgajarda.
According to media reports, a boat capsized in Lake Victoria in the African nation of Uganda on Wednesday. The boat was carrying fresh food, fish and other goods alongside the people when the accident occurred. Twenty persons were killed and many others injured when strong winds resulted in the boat capsizing.
Morari Bapu, who is presently on the Jyotirlinga Ramkatha train yatra, has dedicated a sum of Rs 11,000 each to the families of the 20 persons who lost their lives in the incident. The equivalent of the total sum of Rs 2.20 lakh would be delivered to the bereaved families in the Ugandan currency by Morari Bapu’s followers and Ramkatha listeners in Africa.
Morari Bapu has offered prayers at the feet of Lord Hanuman for the salvation of the departed souls and expressed his heartfelt sympathies to their families.
