To showcase the talent, creativity and ingenuity of its members, WE-Women Empowerment Committee of Karnavati Club Limited has recently celebrated Mothers’ Day by organising a free online cooking workshop and contest under the guidance of chairperson Hita N Patel, says a release.
The free online cooking workshop was organized by Poonam Kedia, a cooking expert from Home Chef Academy, on May 8 which received an overwhelming response from the club members of all age groups. Sunita Chauhan, member of WE Committee successfully moderated the event.
On this occasion, Chairperson of the WE committee, Hita N Patel said, “Mother is the epitome of dedication, unconditional love, faith, sacrifices. On Mother’s Day, I want to say that, Mother’s Day will stay here forever but the mothers will not. Mother is an intrinsic part of everyone’s life. She switches between multiple roles so easily to comfort our lives. Do your best to make your mother feel special. Make her feel loved, make her feel how much she means to you. All that a mother needs is your time and love. Whatever she does for you is completely selfless. I hope, we as children, do our best not only on Mother’s Day but each and every day of her life because she deserves nothing but the best.”
She added, “I am thankful to cooking expert Poonam Kedia who has made Mother’s Day memorable for everyone through her cooking workshop. We have always encouraged our members to bring out their creativity and skills. The WE Committee will continue to provide inspiration and a strong platform for women members to bring out their hidden talents in the years to come.
Along with free online cooking workshop, the committee also organised a contest involving participants of the Virtual Cooking Workshop as Mother’s Day celebrations. Under this initiative, three contests were organized in five age groups. The participants made a video shoot of any one recipe for their mother and the children prepared homemade cards for their mothers and took a selfie. Gifts were given to five winners in each category.
