MP Tourism’s Chennai Roadshow showcases its diverse attractions

After a brief gap, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism showcases its diverse attractions at its Chennai Roadshow on Friday. The Road Show draws an overwhelming response from travel enthusiasts and industry stakeholders from across Tamil Nadu.

  • The Chennai roadshow has been a great success, reaffirming our belief in the power of collaboration in the tourism sector. Madhya Pradesh is not just a destination; it is an experience that offers a blend of history, culture, spirituality, and adventure: Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trusts & Endowments Department, and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, 
  • A multitude of stakeholders – prominent tour operators & hospitality partners from Madhya Pradesh participated, fostering collaborative opportunities and promoting the state’s tourism potential.

The Roadshow effectively highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s diverse attractions, robust connectivity, and exceptional hospitality, positioning the state as an ideal destination for South Indian tourists.

In his comments Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trusts & Endowments Department, and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, said, “The Chennai roadshow has been a great success, reaffirming our belief in the power of collaboration in the tourism sector. Madhya Pradesh is not just a destination; it is an experience that offers a blend of history, culture, spirituality, and adventure. With strong investment commitments, new initiatives, and enhanced tourism offerings, we are confident that Madhya Pradesh will continue to emerge as a preferred travel and investment destination in India.”

The roadshow witnessed an impressive turnout, reflecting the growing interest among Tamil Nadu travelers in exploring Madhya Pradesh. A multitude of stakeholders, including prominent tour operators and hospitality partners from Madhya Pradesh, actively participated, fostering collaborative opportunities and promoting the state’s tourism potential.

Addressing queries of media persons, Yuvraj Padole, Deputy Director – Events, Marketing and Film Tourism, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said ‘We will take-away the media suggestion to introduce Guides who are well-versed in Southern languages – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam to attract more tourists from South India’.

He further said that the MP Tourism will conduct such Roadshows in Tier-II and Tier-III towns in Tamil Nadu. The MP Tourism has divided the state into 5 zones and it will take at least 45 days to visit the entire state.

MP offers everything – Spirituality, Wildlife, and Heritage

Madhya Pradesh is a treasure trove of attractions catering to the diverse interests of Tamil Nadu’s travelers. For spiritual seekers, the state is home to two revered Jyotirlingas – Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain and Omkareshwar, drawing lakhs of pilgrims every year. Wildlife enthusiasts can embark on thrilling safaris in Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks, renowned for their tiger reserves and rich biodiversity.
