I always believe it’s one of the best times you can have. There are studies, games…but the time that you spend at school never comes back. You always have fond memories. You make friends over here that will stay with you for a very long time.
Kasi Viswanathan, the CEO of Chennai Super Kings cricket team, also graced the occasion authorising the merger between the school and the Super Kings Academy with the intention of professionally coaching all the students in cricket through the After School Program.
Besides, MS Dhoni inaugurated the football ground in the campus and a digital awareness program where laptops were distributed to about 1,800 students in a bid to make them digitally authorised and knowledgeable.

Speaking about the event, R Chandrasekar, Founder and Chairman of MS Dhoni Global School Bengaluru, said: “The process of learning is not confined to the time spent in a classroom, with homework or on field trips. Learning involves many facets of activity and information flow that form a learning ecosystem. Today’s learning faces many barriers, including social, economic and technology constraints. Yet technology can effectively address these challenges. We have decided to empower 1,000 Techers and One Lac students by training them on Digital Literacy and O365 in association with Tech Avant-Garde, award winning Global Training Partner of Microsoft, this will make our society Future Ready.
Speaking about the digital program, Ali Sait, CEO, Tech Avant-Garde, said: “We will be training 1,000 teachers about digital literacy. They will go ahead and train one lakh students across private and government schools. Following the training, both the teachers and the students will get certified by Microsoft. Today, anybody with digital literacy certificate can get a job – be it in a bank, or billing counters in the store or in any other company. Digital literacy can open up endless opportunities in future for these children. However, most of the government schools and tier 2 and 3 private schools do not have adequate infrastructure for proper digital education. That’s why we have targeted these students to give them a better future.”
MS Dhoni spent some quality time with educators on campus in Hosur and participated in “Coffee With Chairman” – a flagship program conducted by the Chairman Chandrasekar. It was an interactive program with Dhoni that turned out to be a highly inspiring session spotlighting various aspects of Dhoni’s life and the factors that put him on the pedestal of success.
