Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, and offered free treatment to the injured.
In a statement on Thursday, April 24, Ambani called the Baisaran attack “barbaric,” stating that Reliance Foundation Sir HN Hospital in Mumbai will offer free treatment to all the injured.
“I am joined by everyone in the Reliance family in mourning the deaths of innocent Indians in the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April, 2025. We offer our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims,” Ambani said in a statement.
“We wish speedy and full recovery to all those injured in the attack. Our Relance Foundation Sir HN Hospital in Mumbai will offer free treatment to all the injured,” he added.
Ambani also called terrorism an enemy of humanity, urging that it should not be supported in any form by anyone.
“Terrorism is an enemy of humanity. It must not be supported by anyone in any manner,” Ambani asserted.
He added that Reliance shares its stance with the government and PM Modi’s battle against terrorism. “We fully stand with our Honourable Prime Minister, the Government of India and the entire country in the decisive battle against the menace of terrorism,” the statement read.
Twenty-six people died in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, most of them tourists. About 20 others are severely injured and are being treated in government hospitals.
The Indian government has taken severe measures such as suspending the visas of the Pakistani nationals under a SAARC scheme, and putting in abeyance the Indus Water Treaty. PM Modi on Thursday said India will track, and punish all the terrorists and their supporters.
