NAAC grants ‘A++’ grade to Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted the A++ grade to the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, a  Deemed to be University. This is the highest grade offered for educational institutions in the country, says Dr. Mariazeena Johnson- Chancellor, SIST.

This accreditation was granted on Friday after a duly constituted NAAC experts’ team visited the institution for onsite evaluation under the third cycle.

NAAC is an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission that conducts a qualitative assessment of colleges, universities and other recognised institutions in the country.
