Udaipur-based Narayan Seva Sansthan organised 17th Divyang Talent show in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Commenting on the spectacular performance of the ‘Divya Heroes’, Chief guest and television actor Dilip Joshi said, “Differently-abled have a crucial role to play in shaping the New India. Just breaking the physical stereotype is not enough, it requires more attention to bring out the best in them by utilizing their potential, inspiring society and encourage them to prosper towards a better future. Narayan Seva Sansthan is setting up an inspiring example for society by providing a vibrant platform for such individuals.”

40 differently-abled participants held the audience captive with their energetic performances at the show. ‘Divya Heroes’ enthralled the audience with their special scintillating dance and stunts. The ramp walk and complicated stunts on Mal- Khamb and wheelchair by Suresh, Shubham, Jagdish Patel, Yogesh Prajapati, and Bajrang Nehra drew a large round of applause.

According to Divya Hero and one of the talent show performers, Shubham, “Narayan Seva Sansthan is a ray of hope for individuals like us who have now been truly accepted and treated equally as the rest.”

Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said, “Our focus is on amplifying their potential and helping them to serve the society better, all they required is an opportunity to present themselves. All our initiatives like World of Humanity (WOH), Skill Training Programme, Corrective Surgery, Food distribution campaigns and limb distribution camp across the world contribute towards this goal.”
NSS initiative, World of Humanity, is the 450-Bedded Hospital with state-of-the-Art amenities & facilities for specially-abled people. It is the first such institution in India having a mechanized manufacturing facility for artificial limbs. It also offers the specially-abled free of cost vocational training at its Centre for Research and Development in Udaipur, added Agarwal.
