Natchatram Nagargirathu is the film that talks about the social issues behind love, said its Director Pa Ranjith here on Monday. Addressing at the audio launch in an open stage at Phoenix Shopping Mall in Velacherry, Pa Ranjith said that the social problems behind love have been discussed in the movie ‘Natchatram Nagargirathu.’
He said that everyone can understand that this society is created and created after love. Similarly, when the movie ‘Kabali’ was released, everyone said it was good. But people in the film industry criticized the film was not good and it had created confusion and pain for him. But it was the veteran producer Kalaipuli S Thanu who gave confidence and showed the collection of that film. Similarly producer KE Gnanavel Raja revealed that his film career would have been difficult if he had not released the film ‘Attakakathi.’
“And now that I have been in cinema for 10 years, I thought that all of them should attend this event. So he invited them. Also, I think it was important to work in the film ‘Chennai-28,’ “ said Pa Ranjith. He also said that working in that film created the career path in Cinema for me.
Director Vetrimaran said, “When I saw ‘Attakathi,’ I thought it was going to be a big start. Also, this film talks about things that have been reluctant to talk about in movies for so long. I think these stories also transcend time. But he said that he is happy to come through Pa Ranjith. Vetrimaran said that like ‘Attakathi,’ this movie ‘Nakshatram Nagargiradhu’ will create a new trend in the cinema field.”
Director Venkat Prabhu said, “I know Ranjith from before the movie ‘Chennai-28.’ I met him for story board work. He initially requested to introduce him to director Lingusamy. Eventually I had to work with him. Ranjith wrote most of the dialogues in Goa. He happily informed that Pa Ranjith is now a disciple who has surpassed the Guru.”
Kalidas Jayaram, Kalaiyarasan, Tushara Vijayan and many others acted in that movie. Thenma has composed the music for the film.
Besides the film crew, producers Kalaipuli S. Thanu, KE Gnanavel Raja, directors Venkat Prabhu, Vetimaaran and others participated in the event.
Director Pa Ranjith introduced his mother and family members to audience.
