A former student of the reputed dance school Nrityagram, Akshiti Chowdhury, set the stage on fire with her Odissi dance performance on the last day of Navratri celebrations at Isha.
Her performance encompassed unique features, including depicting rituals and deities, portraying the obstacles to Ultimate Knowledge, and performing Kali Thandavam. Artfully capturing the nine Rasas or emotions, Akshiti held the audience’s rapt attention and received huge applause.

Today’s cultural performances were inaugurated by the Chairman of Perur Town Panchayat Annadurai, Panchayat President Rajalakshmi, Nagarathinam of Velliangiri Uzhavan Producer Company, and Panchayat President of Perur Chettipalayam Panchayat, Shanti Prasad.
