NBHC ProComm, a division of National Bulk Handling Corporation (NBHC), on Monday said it has secured accreditation for its laboratory at Vashi under the integrated assessment scheme of NABL, which will help the company’s foray into the third-party inspection and testing services business.
The accreditation under the NABL scheme includes approval from food regulator FSSAI, APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), and IOPEPC (Indian Oilseed and Produce Export Promotion Council), NBHC said in a statement.
This accreditation of ProComm laboratory in Navi Mumbai spans over 13 food categories with 9 authorised signatories and 13 approved samplers, it added.
ProComm has already been accredited with ISO 17025 (NABL), ISO 22000, and ISO 9001 and approved by GAFTA for Quality Testing of agri-commodities.
This new accreditation will enhance valuable offerings through NBHC ProComm”s recent foray into the third-party inspection and testing services business, it added.
NBHC ProComm provides specialized type of testing and sampling to manufacturers, importers, exporters, retailers and food service and hotel industry across the country to meet their requirements for safety, superiority, and reliability.
