AHMEDABAD, APRIL 16
As part of NCC Exercise Yogdan, the NCC Directorate Gujarat has been working in tandem with the Civil Administration towards its fight against COVID-19 for over a week. Presently, a total of 02 Officers, 558 cadets, 52 ANOs and 63 Permanent Instructors of NCC are deployed in Gujarat, said a Defence spokesman here on Wednesday.
In Gandhidham, 88 volunteer cadets of 6 Guj Naval units along with 05 ANOs and 08 Permanent Instructors were deployed at 10 different locations across the city and Adipur and Anjarat for traffic management to help the police. Some of these locations of deployment are Mundhra Circle, Chawla Chowk, Oslo Circle, and Chitrakut Circle. Cadets were seen educating the people on the various precautions to be taken against COVID-19.
In Nadiad district, 65 cadets, 07 Permanent Instructors, and 06 ANOs were deployed at Nadiad, Vaso, Mehadabad for assisting the Civil Administration. The cadets have been actively involved in traffic control, queue management at banks and ATMs and also for food distribution at various locations.
In Banaskantha district, 86 volunteer cadets, 08 ANOs and 06 Permanent Instructors of 35 Gujarat Bn were deployed under Colonel Amit Purty at Vadgaon, Palanpur, and Deesa at various locations of the city. The cadets enthusiastically assisted the police in traffic management.
In Bharuch district, 22 volunteer cadets and 02 ANOs were deployed in data management and traffic management at Bharuch Town and Ankleshwar. The cadets also educated the people on precautions to be taken against COVID-19.
In Anand, 25 volunteer cadets, 01 ANOs and 02 Permanent Instructors were deployed at three locations. All the cadets were actively involved in supporting the police in traffic control and providing assistance to the local population.
Besides, NCC cadets were also deployed at Jamnagar, Bhuj, Himmatnagar, Navsari, Gandhinagar, Junagadh, and Rajkot.

ગુજરાતમાં NCC યોગદાન કવાયત
NCC યોગદાન કવાયતના ભાગરૂપે, ગુજરાતના NCC ડાયરેક્ટોરેટ દ્વારા કોવિડ-19 સામેની લડાઇમાં નાગરિક વહીવટીતંત્રને વધુને વધુ સ્થળોએ સહકાર આપવા માટે સ્વયંસેવકો નિયુક્ત કરવાના પ્રયાસો સતત ચાલી રહ્યા છે. આજની તારીખની માહિતી અનુસાર, NCCના કુલ 02 અધિકારી, 558 કેડેટ્સ, 52 ANO અને 63 કાયમી ઇન્સ્ટ્રક્ટરની ગુજરાતમાં વિવિધ સ્થળે નિયુક્તિ કરવામાં આવી છે.

ગાંધીધામ : 6 ગુજરાત નૌસેના યુનિટના 88 સ્વયંસેવક કેડેટ્સની સાથે 05 ANO અને 08 કાયમી ઇન્સ્ટ્રક્ટરને શહેરમાં અને આદીપૂર તેમજ અંજાર ખાતે અલગ અલગ 10 જગ્યાએ ટ્રાફિક સંચાલનમાં પોલીસની મદદ માટે નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. તેમની નિયુક્તિના કેટલાક સ્થળોમાં મુંદ્રા સર્કલ, ચાવલા ચોક, ઓસ્લો સર્કલ અને ચિત્રકુટ સર્કલ પણ છે. કેડેટ્સ તેમની ફરજ દરમિયાન કોવિડ-19થી બચવા માટે કેવી તકેદારી રાખવી તે અંગે પણ લોકોને સમજાવતા જોવા મળ્યા હતા.

નડિયાદ : 65 સ્વયંસેવક કેડેટ્સ, 07 કાયમી ઇન્સ્ટ્રક્ટર અને 06 ANOને નડિયાદ, વાસો, મહેમદાવાદ ખાતે નાગરિક વહીવટીતંત્રની મદદ માટે નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. આ કેડેટ્સે ટ્રાફિક સંચાલન, બેંકો અને ATM પર લોકોની કતારના વ્યવસ્થાપનમાં સક્રીયપણે મદદ કરી હતી અને વિવિધ સ્થળે અન્ન વિતરણ કાર્યોમાં પણ ભાગ લીધો હતો.

બનાસકાંઠા : 35 ગુજરાત બટાલિયનના 86 સ્વયંસેવક કેડેટ્સ, 08 ANO અને 06 કાયમી ઇન્સ્ટ્રક્ટરને કર્નલ અમિત પૂર્તિના નેતૃત્વમાં વડગાંવ, પાલનપુર અને ડીસામાં વિવિધ સ્થળે નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આ કેડેટ્સ ટ્રાફિસ સંચાલનમાં પોલીસની મદદ કરવા માટે ખૂબ જ ઉત્સાહી જોવા મળ્યા હતા.

ભરૂચ : ભરૂચ શહેર અને અંકલેશ્વરમાં 22 સ્વયંસેવક કેડેટ્સ અને 02 ANOને ડેટા વ્યવસ્થાપન અને ટ્રાફિક સંચાલનમાં નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. આ કેડેટ્સે કોવિડ-19 સામે લડવા માટે કેવી તકેદારી રાખવી તે અંગે લોકોને સમજાવ્યા હતા.

આણંદ : 25 સ્વયંસેવક કેડેટ્સ, 01 ANO અને 02 કાયમી ઇન્સ્ટ્રક્ટરને આણંદમાં ત્રણ સ્થળે નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. તમામ કેડેટ્સે ટ્રાફિક સંચાલનમાં પોલીસને મદદ કરવા માટે અને સ્થાનિક લોકોને મદદ કરવામાં ખૂબ સક્રીયપણે ભાગ લીધો હતો. વધુમાં, NCC કેડેટ્સને જામનગર, ભૂજ, હિંમતનગર, નવસારી, ગાંધીનગર, જુનાગઢ અને રાજકોટ ખાતે પણ નિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.
