With regional language debutant filmmakers faring well in promoting diversity in Indian cinema, the National Film Development Corporation Limited (NFDC) announced a call for applications for funding of feature films.
Under the scheme ‘Production of films in various Indian languages’, by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the NFDC encourages filmmakers by undertaking 100 percent production of their debut film.

Interested candidates can visit the official website https://nfdcindia.com/apply-now/ and refer to the production guidelines to fulfill all application requirements. It is mandatory for the candidates to send a hard copy of the application to the Mumbai office of NFDC, 6th Floor, Discovery of India Building, Dr. Annie Besant Road, Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai –400018, by January 31, 2022.
In addition to the above, candidates can also send application to NFDC’s regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, and branch office in Thiruvananthapuram, the address of which can be found on the website.
