- Strategic tie-up to offer enhanced exchange benefits and strengthen dealer ecosystem
- This Nissan–Spinny partnership is expected to become a benchmark for OEM–used car platform integrations, offering a win-win for customers, dealerships, and both brands.
NE BUSINESS BUREAU
GURUGRAM, SEPT 17
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has entered into a strategic alliance with Spinny, India’s leading full-stack used car platform, designating it as the ‘Preferred Exchange Partner Platform’ across Nissan dealerships nationwide.
This collaboration — the first-of-its-kind between an automobile OEM and a national-level used car aggregator — is designed to deliver greater value to customers while unlocking fresh business opportunities for dealer partners.
Customer-Centric Exchange Benefits
Under this initiative, customers exchanging their vehicles through Spinny — either at Nissan dealerships or directly via Spinny’s digital platform — will gain access to exclusive exchange benefits when purchasing a new Nissan vehicle.
To ensure a seamless process, Spinny’s evaluation teams will be deployed at Nissan dealerships based on appointments and demand. The streamlined claim process will also allow a Spinny-issued Buying Letter to serve as valid exchange proof, removing the need for RC transfer documentation.
Strengthening Dealership Growth
The partnership is equally designed to empower Nissan’s dealer network by:
- Offering new channels to liquidate used car inventory
- Driving incremental leads through joint marketing campaigns
- Featuring Nissan’s exchange offers prominently on Spinny’s digital platforms
Nissan Motor India, in turn, will integrate Spinny branding into its promotional activities, ensuring wider visibility and engagement.
Leadership Speak
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said: “Our collaboration with Spinny as a preferred exchange partner represents a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening our vehicle exchange ecosystem, enhancing customer experience, and contributing to dealership growth.”
Niraj Singh, Founder & CEO of Spinny, added: “We are redefining how car ownership and upgrades are experienced in India. Our endeavour is to create an ecosystem with OEMs where buying or selling a car is as joyful and effortless as driving it.”
Setting New Industry Benchmarks
This Nissan–Spinny partnership is expected to become a benchmark for OEM–used car platform integrations, offering a win-win for customers, dealerships, and both brands.
