Dr. Sundaravarathan S, Registrar, NITPY and Dr. Jhonney Martens, HoD, Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Koperundevi G, HoD Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and Dr. Karpagaraj A, Dr Sathishkumar A Head SAE club, NITPY were present at the inaugural function.
Dr. Sunadraravrathan pointed out the importance of sharing knowledge and congratulated the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering department for conducting the event at NIT Puducherry.
In his address he also pointed out the need for students to strive hard to keep themselves updated with the latest technologies as we are living in an era where the technology is growing at a fast rate. Dr. Jhonney Martens and Dr. Koperundevi G spoke about their respective departments and the facilities with the department. A total of 95 teams have registered for paper presentation and 28 participants have registered for different workshops and events conducted as a part of the conference. Students from all over Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and neighbouring states have participated in the conference.
