#TNAssembly pic.twitter.com/B8cJSRKApf

Addressing in the state assembly during the debate on the demands for grants for the Public Works Departments under his jurisdiction, the Chief Minister said at present only e-tenders are floated. ”Only those who are quoting low estimates are eligible to be given work orders,” he said.
He was responding to DMK MLA Thangam Thennarasu’s statement that only a few are getting tenders repeatedly. Thennarasu also said that he was disappointed that no questions were taken up in the PWD and Highways department.
Answering this, Mr. Palaniswami said, ”I have given clear explanations to the questions raised in my departments during the debates. Proper response has been given to the members who have even given letters.”
