In a remarkable initiative aimed at providing affordable and quality healthcare and food services to the local community, Global Peace Ambassador Gurumahan inaugurated the Aatral Unavagam and Aatral Clinic in Dharapuram in Tirupur district.

The Aatral Unavagam, located near Dharapuram Taluk Office, Suresh Complex, West Kachcheri Road, has been established to offer three meals of high-quality food for a minimal fee of Rs 10. The menu includes delicious idli, chutney, and sambar for breakfast and dinner. For lunch they are serving rice, sambhar, poriyal and more. The Aatral Unavagam expects to serve over 1,000 people daily, benefiting around 25,000 individuals every month.
To mark the inauguration, Global Peace Ambassador Gurumahan lighted the traditional lamp.
Aatral Ashokumar and numerous industrialists, business personalities, and spiritual leaders from the Dharapuram region were present on the occasion to support the noble cause.
In addition to the Unavagam, the Aatral Clinic, situated on Dharapuram North Street near St. Sebastian’s Church, introduced 19 types of medical examination services, including screening for fever, cough, phlegm, diarrhea, constipation, sore throat, and more.
Qualified doctors and nurses are available to provide healthcare services at the nominal charge of Rs.10, and selected medicines also will be provided at free of cost thus making essential medical care accessible to the local population.
The Aatral Foundation, established in 2021, has been dedicated to the development of social and community welfare. Its services include improving government schools in Dharapuram, Kangeyam, Erode, Modakurichi, Pallipalayam, and Kumarapalayam, temple renovations, and giving awards to college students in order to motivate them.
In its ongoing mission to serve the public, the foundation has already launched Aatral Unavagam and hospitals in Erode and Kumarapalayam Pallipalayam areas, catering to tens of thousands of people every day, with around 75,000 individuals benefiting every month.
Aatral Ashokumar, a driving force behind the initiative, expressed his gratitude to the community for their overwhelming support, and he announced plans for further expansion of services.
The next month, the Aatral Unavagam is set to open in the Kangeyam area, continuing their mission to provide affordable and high-quality services to the public.
This significant endeavor by the Aatral Foundation is expected to have a substantial positive impact on the health and well-being of the local community in Dharapuram.
