Passengers arriving at the Tirupati international airport will soon be able to book darshan tickets of Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala by instantly donating to the Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana (SRIVANI) Trust.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is in the process of establishing a dedicated ticket issuing counter at the airport for devotees who can extend a donation of Rs 10,000 and obtain a VIP break darshan by paying Rs 500 for the ticket.
This facility will end the black marketing of the VIP break darshan tickets besides facilitating a hassle-free darshan experience for the donor devotees.
Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) came forward with a proposal to the TTD to set up a current ticket booking counter at the airport last month, which will soon accept donations for SRIVANI Trust and provide break darshan tickets.
