AHMEDABAD, JUNE 30
The International Mud Day is an exciting date not only to play and have fun with mud but to raise awareness about cleanliness among children and access to sanitation.

To promote this, Nurture Preschool, a leading preschool in South Bopal, celebrated the International Mud Day on Wednesday, 28th June on its campus. The preschool’s outdoor play area was transformed into a muddy wonderland. The children, along with their moms and teachers, delved into pottery, muddy puddles, Multani mitti spa, mud sculptures, sensory paths, and much more.
Kavita Sharma, founder, Nurture Preschool, says, “The International Mud Day, celebrated worldwide on June 29th, is a global initiative that encourages children to play and explore in nature’s most delightful and messy resource: mud. It serves as a reminder of the importance of outdoor play and the countless benefits it brings to a child’s overall development. The children feel the warmth of Mother Earth by lying, rolling around, and playing in the mud without any barrier.”
