Former BCCI president N Srinivasan commented that the exciting last-ball win by Chennai Super Kings over Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 final was a “miracle,” and only the legend MS Dhoni could pull off such a display. Notably, Srinivasan is the Vice-Chairman and MD of India Cements, CSK’s primary sponsor.

India Cements Ltd, situated in Chennai, is the primary sponsor of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
Srinivasan called on the CSK captain and congratulated him and his team on their great victory, says an India Cements release.
“Fantastic captain. You have done a miracle. Only you can do it. We are proud of the boys and the team,” Srinivasan told Dhoni. He encouraged Dhoni to recuperate after the recent back-to-back games schedule and offered him to visit Chennai with the squad to celebrate the triumph.
“This season has been one where the fans have demonstrated how much they love MS Dhoni. So do we,” Srinivasan, who was overwhelmed by the affection shown by CSK fans, said.
Chennai Super Kings equaled Mumbai Indians’ record of five Indian Premier League (IPL) titles as Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s side beat champions Gujarat Titans by five wickets in Monday’s rain-affected final in Ahmedabad.
Later in the evening , the IPL Trophy won by CSK was placed before Lord Venkatachalapathy in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Temple in T Nagar, Chennai.
N Srinivasan, Vice- Chairman & MD, India Cements and member, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board ( TTD) received the IPL Trophy won by CSK after pooja in Lord Venkatachalapathy in TTD temple in T Nagar, Chennai.
R Srinivasan, Chairman, CSK, KS Viswanathan, CEO, CSK and Senior officials of India Cements were with him on the auspicious occasion.
