Marking the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor with a celebration of courage, compassion and community leadership, Raftaar Headline News will host the inaugural Samaj Gaurav Awards 2026 on June 14 in Ahmedabad, creating a distinctive platform to honour Gujarat’s changemakers whose contributions continue to transform society.
The first edition of the awards will be held at 5 pm at The Forum, Club O7 Road, Shela-Bopal, where acclaimed actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding national stature to an initiative dedicated to recognising excellence across society.
Designed as more than a conventional felicitation ceremony, Samaj Gaurav Awards 2026 seeks to celebrate individuals and institutions that have made exceptional contributions in entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, innovation, startups, arts, public welfare and social development, reinforcing the values of leadership, service and nation-building.
In a distinctive departure from many award platforms, the honours will be presented without any cash prize, underscoring the organisers’ belief that the highest recognition lies in public respect and societal appreciation rather than financial reward.
Awards will be presented across 25 categories, with winners selected through a three-member independent jury panel, ensuring a credible and merit-based evaluation process.
Organisers also announced that the initiative is envisioned as an annual feature, with plans to institutionalise Samaj Gaurav Awards as one of Gujarat’s most respected platforms for recognising excellence and inspiring social transformation.
The event is being organised under the leadership of Mukesh Goyal, Managing Director of Raftaar Headline News, with the blessings of Respected Kishandas Ji.
The Presenting Partner is Ayodhya Group/Shri Ramji Group, represented by Himanshu Agrawal and Sameer Shukla.
