Sending a strong message of offering various welfare measures for all those who rendered selfless service in defending the borders, Golden Katar Division of the Indian Army organised “Shaurya Sabha”, Veterans’ Rally on
Sunday at Rawlley Stadium, Ahmedabad Cantonment, honouring Veterans, Veer Naris and Next of Kin from Ahmedabad and adjoining districts. More than 2,000 veterans benefited from this outreach initiative.

Several dignitaries from the Indian Army and Civil Administration graced the event, including Major General Gaurav Bagga, General Officer Commanding, Golden Katar Division while reaffirming the Army’s commitment to veteran welfare.

Key services included pension support via SPARSH, assistance from Record Offices and CDA and banking support for pension accounts. A medical camp by Military Hospital Ahmedabad provided specialist consultations and dental care.

Civil counters offered Aadhaar services and welfare scheme guidance. Reps from Army Welfare Placement Organisation mentored veterans on re-employment and skill development. 26 Veer Naris and war veterans were felicitated during the event. “Shaurya Sabha” reflected the Army’s enduring bond with its veterans.
