The Lions Club of Ahmedabad Satellite & Clear, a packaged premium water firm, jointly organised a “Blood Donation Camp” on Tuesday which received an overwhelming response. It was a unique opportunity for the donors to donate their blood to save a life. In this camp approx. smore than 50 donors donated their blood.
Members of the Lions Club, their families, friends, and other citizens participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp at Sadvichar Parivar at Ramdev Nagar.
Mihir Parikh, President of the Lions Club of Ahmedabad Satellite expressed his delight at the response to the camp. “At Lions International, we believe in selfless service and making a positive impact on the community. Blood donation is a selfless act as it involves giving a part of ourselves to save others’ lives. We are very happy to see such a large number of people responding positively to our appeal and donating blood.
We are thankful to all the donors for supporting the cause and helping in saving lives. We will continue to organise and promote events and activities aimed at the larger public good,” Parikh said.
