A free educational seminar aimed at guiding students aspiring to pursue accessible, affordable and high-quality higher education in Europe—particularly in the Czech Republic—was organised at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). The session focused on creating awareness among students and parents about European study opportunities, career prospects, cost advantages and the benefits of international exposure. Representatives from European educational institutions offered direct guidance on admissions, course selection, campus life, accommodation, and long-term career development.
Key speakers included Bhavik Siddhpura (The Visa Man), Director – First Step Overseas, Krejci Milos, Head of School – School of Business, Prague, and Krish Mishra, Admission Representative.
A major highlight of the seminar was the unique advantages available for Indian students in the Czech Republic—no IELTS requirements, affordable annual fees ranging from ₹2 to ₹4 lakh, low cost of living, part-time work options of up to 40 hours per week, spouse visa opportunities, acceptance of academic gaps and strong visa approval rates. Students completing their programmes also gain eligibility for post-study work permits of 1 to 4 years, followed by the possibility of applying for Permanent Residency (PR).
Explaining why Ahmedabad was chosen as a key location for the seminar, Bhavik Siddhpura (The Visa Man) said: “For the last nine years, Ahmedabad has been one of the most active cities for Europe study aspirants. Students here show a strong interest in overseas education, and we already have many success stories of students who have settled in Europe. Their references help guide new applicants. This seminar is a golden opportunity for students to receive accurate information and trustworthy guidance.”
Representing the European side, Krejci Milos, Head of School – School of Business, Prague, noted:
“The Czech Republic is known for its quality education, modern campuses and strong industry linkages. Indian students are hardworking and practical, and they are performing extremely well here. We wish to welcome more Indian students to take advantage of these opportunities.”
Sharing insights on course trends and admissions, Krish Mishra, Admission Representative, added:
“Gujarati students generally prefer fields such as IT, Engineering, Business, Healthcare and Hospitality. Students with strong profiles may also receive scholarships or join exchange programmes in countries like the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. This seminar helps students choose the right academic pathway for their future.”
Around 12 graduate students, current enrollees and working professionals attended the seminar, exploring affordable avenues for international education. Participants also interacted with parents and students living in Europe to gain first-hand knowledge of life abroad.
The initiative aims to empower Ahmedabad’s youth with credible guidance and broaden their access to global academic and career opportunities.
