The show follows the story of Goddess Ganga, which is not just about her divine powers but showcases her life full of dedication & sacrifices for the cause of humanity.
Aakriti Sharma, who enveloped the audiences with her previous performances, is travelling across 3 different cities in India to promote the show and spread love and kindness making her first pit stop at Ahmedabad. She was seen performing aarti and offering her prayers at the famous Shree Chandreshwar Mahadev Temple in Ahmedabad. She was also seen interacting with the local crowd post taking blessings from Lord Shiva. She gave an extremely impactful monologue on the virtue of humanity that had the audiences’ hair standing and gave them food for thought at a time where humanity seems to be failing.
Aakriti Sharma shared her experience of playing Ganga, “Paapnaashini Ganga is a very intense story that showcases the life of Ganga, who has always sacrificed for others. I had fun playing the character but I also learnt a lot – about people, about mythology, and about how many emotions I can depict. Ishara has given me a wonderful opportunity and I hope viewers enjoy watching it.”

Kick-starting on 1st March 2021, Ishara will be a 24X7 Hindi entertainment channel, available to television audiences on major DPOs (DTH and cable networks) in its launch phase in India.
