Surat-based Stratefix Consulting on Tuesday announced that it has bagged the consulting mandate for Patel Packaging, leading complete wooden packaging solutions providers. With this mandate, Stratefix Consulting will be responsible for the company’s sales consulting in Gujarat territory, building the team, creating infrastructure, creating sales strategies, and implementation, a release said.

As per the Packaging Industry Association of India report, the packaging is among the high growth industries in India and developing at 22-25% per annum and becoming a preferred hub for the packaging industry. Currently the 5th largest sector of India’s economy, the industry has reported steady growth over the past several years and shows high potential for much expansion, particularly in the export market.
To gauge the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industries, Stratefix Consulting had recently conducted a survey. The company had reached out to more than 100 companies having a turnover of Rs. 10 crores to Rs. 100 crores and conducted a survey in the first two weeks of July 2020. As per the findings of the survey, more than 85% of businessmen are focusing on business restructuring. 36% of business units are cutting down the fixed expenses.
