Applauding the efficacy of physiotherapy, Chief Patron of CHARUSAT’s Ashok & Rita Patel Institute of Physiotherapy Ashok Patel on Thursday said physiotherapy makes life well for everyone in the society.
Speaking at the 12th Annual day of Ashok & Rita Patel Institute of Physiotherapy, Ashok Patel said, “As healthcare providers physiotherapy students ought to strive hard to make people’s life far better through their humanitarian service.”
Guest of Honour Dr. Yagna Shukla, President – Gujarat State Physiotherapy Council and Principal – Government Spine Institute, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, said, “Present-day young generation is enthusiastic & creative. These qualities of the students are highly fueled by CHARUSAT. Taking this opportunity, the students should ‘think out-of-the-box” and develop the habit of seeing & not just looking’.”
Honorary secretary of Matrusanstha, Kelavani Mandal , CHRF Dr MC Patel expressed his gratitude to the Chief Patrons Ashok & Rita Patel. Dr MC Patel urged the gathering to initiate mega projects that make CHARUSAT recognizable at global level. To fulfill the dream of Charusat Medical College, he requested everyone to make equal efforts and asked students to keep their contacts intact with CHARUSAT once they become alumni.
ARIP Principal Dr M Balaganapathy welcomed all the dignitaries. Later, he presented the Annual report for the last 3 years. “Under the visionary leadership of CHARUSAT, Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs are being offered by ARIP and new outreach centers will be inaugurated by next year,” Dr M Balaganapathy said.

Felicitation of faculty and students
In recognition of their selfless dedication in institution building, eight faculty members were honoured by the Chief Guest.
Further, 150 certificates and mementoes were awarded to students for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. To boost the morale of meritorious students, they were awarded with cash prizes.
The feedback by two patients was given about how they have started living in a better way after starting treatment at ARIP.
While two students shared how ARIP has inculcated different values in their life, two International Alumni virtually gave their feedback on ARIP’s valuable contribution in moulding them.
Naginbhai Patel, President Matrusanstha and founder President CHRF, Principals and Deans of different institutes, faculty and students were present in large numbers at the program.
