The PM said their priority should be to remove difficulties from the lives of the people, he said.

“Your determination and decisions taken in the interest of the country will strengthen the development of the nation, and this responsibility will also bring new opportunities and challenges for you,” Modi said.

“No matter in which department you are appointed, in which city or village you are, you should always keep in mind that your work should help the common people, solve their problems, make their life easy, and fulfil everyone’s dream of building a developed India in the next 25 years,” he said.

The PM also appealed to them to continue the process of learning and self-development even after assuming new responsibilities.

Chief Minister Patel wished a bright future for the newly appointed candidates and said PM Modi has resolved to build a developed India by 2047 by giving proper opportunities to harness the power of the country’s youth.

“Gujarat will take the lead in building a developed India by building a developed Gujarat,” Patel said in his address.

He urged the new recruits to be determined and serve the people sincerely with the mantra of ‘Sauna Saath, Sauna Vikas, Sauna Vishwas and Sauna Prayaasa’ (everyone’s support, development, trust and effort).

Lauding the uprightness of Hasmukh Patel IAS, the Chief Minister said that whenever Hasmukh Patel’s name is uttered, it invokes applause. “But why do you clap when his name is mentioned? Because he used to complete his task timely and as per the rule, and he would allow no irregularity. When his name comes, irregularities go away automatically. So you all also need to do the tasks in the same fashion that it would also invoke applause.”
