AHMEDABAD, MAY 5
In a major boost to youth-centric infrastructure in Gujarat, the upcoming ‘Sardardham-3’ complex in Vadodara will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 11, 2026, marking a significant leap in the Sardardham organisation’s mission of “Nation Building through Society Building.”
Built at an estimated ₹150 crore, the state-of-the-art campus will anchor a 2,000-student mega hostel within a 4.75 lakh sq ft integrated ecosystem, designed to combine education, skills, entrepreneurship and social support under one roof.
The inauguration will be attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, alongside community leaders and representatives from across the state.
A campus that goes beyond classrooms
Conceived as a holistic development hub, Sardardham-3 will feature a majestic statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the flagship ‘Samaj Setu Bhavan’, symbolising unity and social cohesion.
The campus integrates a wide spectrum of facilities:
- UPSC/GPSC Civil Services Training Centre
- Skill Development and industry-focused workshops
- Specialised academies for Aviation, Defence, Judiciary and Sports
- I-Hub and Startup Support ecosystem
- Overseas Education and Personality Development centres
- Hotel Management training and business facilitation hubs
It also houses guidance cells for revenue, law, social security and women’s safety, along with information centres for government welfare schemes.
Empowering youth, enabling futures
Organisers emphasised that Sardardham-3 is not just an infrastructure project but a long-term investment in youth empowerment and nation-building.
“Driven by the vision of ‘Nation Building through Society Building,’ this initiative is aimed at empowering students with not just education, but opportunities, values and self-reliance,” said Gagjibhai Sutariya, President.
“Sardardham-3 has been conceptualised as a complete development ecosystem—from academic excellence to career readiness—especially for students from Central Gujarat and rural regions,” said Dushyantbhai Patel.
“This project reflects our collective commitment to scale up facilities that can directly impact youth employability and skill-building at a national level,” said Gordhanbhai Zadafia.
“We are confident that Sardardham-3 will become a benchmark institution, strengthening the ecosystem of education, training and social development,” added Natubhai Patel.
Scale, reach and community impact
Located near Waghodia Crossing on NH-48, adjacent to L&T Knowledge City in Vadodara, the campus is expected to serve students from Central Gujarat and surrounding rural areas.
With an anticipated attendance of 45,000–50,000 people, the inauguration is set to be one of the largest community-driven events in the region.
