The Department of Posts has announced the next Dak Adalat, a special public grievance redressal forum aimed at resolving complaints related to postal services under the Ahmedabad HQ Region. The adalat for the quarter ending December 31, 2025, will be held at 11:00 am on December 17, 2025 (Wednesday) at the Office of the Postmaster General, Ahmedabad HQ Region, Speed Post Bhavan, Shahibaug.
During the session, the Postmaster General will personally hear each complainant, ensuring immediate attention and on-the-spot resolution wherever possible. The objective of Dak Adalats is to provide citizens a direct platform to raise issues related to postal services and receive prompt redressal through face-to-face interaction.
Residents with complaints pertaining to postal services in the Ahmedabad HQ Region may send their grievances to R N Gandhi, Assistant Director Postal Services (I), Complaint Section, Office of the Postmaster General, Ahmedabad HQ Region, Speed Post Bhavan, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad-380004.
The complaints must reach the office on or before December 12, 2025 (Friday). Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
Only specific, concise and individual service-related grievances will be taken up. General complaints or matters involving policy decisions will not be entertained.
The Department urges citizens facing unresolved postal service issues to take advantage of the dedicated Dak Adalat mechanism for timely and effective grievance resolution.
