In a strong endorsement of its industry-focused pedagogy, Pondicherry University has recorded an impressive placement season for its MBA cohort, with the Department of Management Studies, School of Management, delivering robust outcomes through sustained corporate engagement and skill-building initiatives.
At a ceremonial event, Vice-Chancellor P. Prakash Babu personally handed over appointment letters to students selected through campus recruitment drives, marking a significant milestone in their transition to the corporate world.

Commending the cohort, Prof. Babu said the achievement reflects “students’ hard work” and the institution’s commitment to career readiness. He extended special appreciation to Dean P. Natarajan, Head of Department R. Venkatesakumar, and Faculty Coordinator N. Sinouvassane for their “unwavering dedication.”
Highlighting the engine behind the results, he noted the Placement Team’s pivotal role in attracting reputed recruiters and equipping students through “mock interviews, training sessions, and development initiatives.”
The placement drive saw participation from 25 companies, with the highest package touching ₹15 lakh per annum and a median salary of ₹4.5 lakh per annum—figures that underscore the program’s growing industry relevance.
Students who secured placements expressed “heartfelt gratitude” to the university leadership and faculty for their guidance and support, crediting structured mentoring and practical exposure for their success.
