India Post observed Constitution Day on 26 November across all post offices and administrative units of the North Gujarat Region. At the Regional Office in Ahmedabad, Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav led officers and staff in the collective recitation of the Preamble, reaffirming their commitment to the ideals that define the Republic.
Addressing the gathering, Yadav said the Constitution is not just a legal document but the moral and institutional backbone of India’s democracy.
“The Constitution reminds us not only of our rights but also of our duties. It embodies the vision of equality, justice and liberty that the makers of modern India gifted us. On this day, we must resolve to uphold its dignity and strengthen national unity,” he said.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment officially designated 26 November as Constitution Day in 2015 to promote constitutional awareness among citizens.
