Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited, Muthoot Finance Limited, Axis Finance Limited, Grasim Industries Limited, Vardhaman Textiles Limited, SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited, Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited made applications to list Commercial Papers at BSE for total Issue Size of Rs. 10,480 crore. Post process, the effective date of listing for the same at BSE is January 03, 2020, a BSE release said.
Till date 56 Issuers have done 335 issuances of Commercial Papers and have successfully listed CPs of Rs. 1,21,560 crore on BSE. The weighted average yield of these issuances is 6.08% with an average tenor of 130 days.
BSE is steering its efforts to help India Inc in raising funds. In F.Y. 2019-20, BSE’s Debt Platforms have enabled corporate India to list debt instruments worth Rs. 4,42,329.05 crores ($ 62.00 billion) as on (January 02, 2020). Of this, BSE has successfully raised 2,29,877 crores ($ 32.22 billion) with market share of around 60% via BSE BOND platform as on (January 02, 2020). This platform was launched in July 2016 and garnered fund raising of Rs. Rs. 9,36,340 crores ($ 131.25 billion) since inception.
