AHMEDABAD, JULY 23
Senior Correspondent of city-based newspaper, The Metro Herald, Hareshbhai B Pandya breathed his last on Friday after suffering a heart attack.
His family took to his official social media account to announce that a prayer meet will be held for him in Ahmedabad on Monday, July 24.
Haresh Pandya’s family shared the announcement on WhatsApp with a note that read, “With profound sorrow we inform you of the passing away of our beloved father Sri Hareshbhai B Pandya on Friday the 21st July 2023. The Prayer meeting will be held on Monday, 24th July. Time: 9 am to 11.00 am at F-303, Shukan Lotus, Behind ICB City, Vandemataram Road, Chandlodiya, Ahmedabad-382481.”
As a mark of respect to the departed soul, city-based journalists and the management of Marengo CIMS Hospital conducted a condolence meeting on Saturday.
He has been pursuing the journalists’ ‘one nation, one pension’ demand with the senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP State Unit.
His untimely death is a great loss to the journalists’ fraternity.
