Making India proud in general and Gujarat in particular, a teenager’s mother was crowned as Ms Earth International 2022 in an online contest. This was the 15th edition of Ms Earth International conducted and the first online one by Michael Stafford of the USA.
Binal Bhatt, 45, also known as Binny was officially named Ms. Earth International 2022 on last Friday, April 22 at 11 pm (US time) by the beauty pageant organisers.
Binny Bhatt is a single mother, who beat out other 40 contestants from various countries like the USA, New Zealand, Japan, and Norway to claim the prestigious title.
Due to the COVID pandemic, she had to wait for two years to take part in this pageant.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, a strong helpmate for women’s empowerment, Bhatt says she draws inspiration from the Queen of India Rani Laxmibai. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, dancing, and cooking for her 13-year-old prince.
Sharing her experience as a contestant, Bhatt says she featured a swimsuit, evening gown, and national costume segment as well as an interview portion for each of the contestants. Only the best brainy with beauty was selected by the juries based on overall performance.
The competition was a historical one as it marked the first-ever online contest for this title.
Earlier, Ms/Mrs Earth 2019-20 was held in Las Vegas physically and after two-years it has been done virtually.
The juries comprise a pretty good well-rounded panel of experts Lorena Rosales – Former Mrs. Earth, Shane Sparks, So you think you can dance and America’s best dance crew fame, DR Rose Marine Solomon, Producer Deborah Bilancione, from Orlando housewives, and Alex Xavier. USA
