Students and faculty members at Prin MC Shah Commerce College, which is part of Navgujarat Group of Colleges, marked the celebration of Teacher’s Day on Thursday – September 5, with great enthusiasm. The day is celebrated every year in India to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.

The event was coordinated by NSS programme officer, Dr Janak Kavaiya and Asst. Professor, Dr Hetal Doshi.

Students share experiences of stepping into their teachers’ shoes for a day-NE photo

Some 25 students from the institute assumed the role of teachers and conducted lectures on several subjects for their peers. Following these sessions, students gathered and shared experiences of stepping into their teachers’ shoes for a day. In a heartwarming gesture, they bowed down to their mentors and sought blessings.

The college honoured the student participants with certificates and mementos for their valuable contribution to the celebration. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Principal of the institute, Dr ND Shah, who acknowledged students’ efforts and dedication and wished them well.
