Held at the Navgujarat Campus, along Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, on July 12 and 13, the 10-hour training session saw participation of some 100 students from the institute. The session was facilitated by Shubham Gawade, a distinguished trainer from the Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST), based in Gandhinagar.

Gawade imparted the training on behalf of the Commissionerate of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. The session took the students through understanding a diverse range of kits, including mechanical, drone, basic electronic, advanced electronics, and agritech kits, among others.

The training session was especially designed to help cultivate innovative thinking among students and also enhance their problem-solving abilities. This will help them tackle real-world challenges more effectively in their career pursuits. Students gained hands-on experience with various kits which helped students hone their practical skills and knowledge.

“Our idea is to acclimatise our students with practical knowhow in various subjects and how they can approach problems and challenges proactively and innovatively,” said Dr ND Shah, Principal, Prin MC Shah Commerce College.

The mechanical kit segment introduced participants to fundamental concepts of mechanics, encouraging them to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.

The drone kit training provided insights into the intricacies of drone technology, highlighting its potential applications in various fields.

The basic and advanced electronic kits offered a comprehensive understanding of electronic components and circuits, fostering a deeper appreciation for electronic engineering.

Lastly, the agritech kit segment focused on the intersection of technology and agriculture, showcasing innovative solutions for modern farming challenges.

The primary objective of the Innovation Club Kit Training was to nurture a culture of innovation within the institution.

The event not only provided students with valuable knowledge and skills but also highlighted the importance of innovation in education.
