Ahmedabad Chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) recently honoured four of its members for having won the coveted PRSI National Awards at a felicitation ceremony held at the Ahmedabad Management Association here.
The awardees are Dr Sonal Pandya, HoD Journalism, Gujarat University; Dr Shirish Kashikar, Director of NIMCJ; Dr Nishith Joshi, Doordarshan News and PR Practitioner Vipul Shukla.
Also, a panel discussion on ‘Public Relations and Atmanirbhar Bharat’ was organized by the PRSI Ahmedabad chapter. In this panel discussion, Dr Sonal Pandya, Dr Shirish Kashikar, Dr Nishith Joshi expressed their thoughts.
The experts spoke in detail about the role of public relations in building the Atmanirbhar Bharat, the changing dimensions of public relations education and the public relations departments of the government and their functions.
PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter office-bearers, PR experts, journalism students, media persons were present in this ceremony.
