R ARIVANANTHAM
Raghava Lawrence is now making another attempt to win the hearts of his fans with the film ‘Rudran’ with the reunion of versatile actor R Sarathkumar.
Raghava Lawrence is very impressive in the role of a mass hero. R Sarathkumar, who is seen as the antagonist, is equally powerful as Lawrence in the film. Priya Bhavani Shankar is the female lead alongside Lawrence. The film, a solid revenge actioner with some nice stunt sequences and heart-touching hardcore sentiments, is a complete entertainer as the story and its execution are good.
In the introductory scene of ‘Rudran, hero Raghava Lawrence, decimates a gang of goons who, keeping in tradition with what they’ve always done, are chasing after a woman. In no time, the main goon is sent flying, and a couple of hundred meters away, a figure appears out of the shadows. “Yaaru da avan?” screams a goon and before you can even imagine the sort of punchline that is going to be the answer, another guy goes “Rudran da”.
The film can be watched in theatres for Raghava Lawrence and R Sarathkumar duo.
Rudran is written and directed by Thirumaaran. Kathiresan produced the film under the banner of Five Star Creations LLP. Sam CS and GV Prakash Kumar composed the music for the film. RD Rajasekhar is the cinematographer, and Anthony is the editor.
