Emphasizing the importance of embracing challenges in life, Raghu Panicker, CEO of Canes Semicon, encouraged students to adopt continuous learning, uphold fundamental values, and develop new skills to navigate the battles of life. He highlighted the abundance of opportunities for growth and the necessity of preparedness and resilience to achieve success.
He was speaking on the first day of the 9th Convocation Ceremony of Indus University, Ahmedabad. The Guest of Honor was Dr. D.P. Giridhar, Founder Vice-Chancellor of Indus University, adding prestige to the occasion.
- Over 1,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various affiliated institutes of Indus University get degrees at Indus University’s 9th Convocation Ceremony
- Dr. Kavita Katti and Anantkumar Hegde were conferred honorary Ph.D. degrees in recognition of their significant contributions to society and the world.
- On the second day of the convocation, Beena Kothdiya, Country Head of Arabella Solutions, presided as the Chief Guest and offer her blessings and guidance to the students.
Guest of Honor Dr. D.P. Giridhar also extended congratulations to the students, offering his best wishes for their future endeavors and encouraging them to scale new heights of success.
During the convocation, degrees were awarded to over 1,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various affiliated institutes of Indus University. Additionally, 22 students received doctoral degrees. Thirteen students from different faculties were honored with gold medals, while six students received special awards.
Furthermore, in recognition of their significant contributions to society and the world, Dr. Kavita Katti and Anantkumar Hegde were conferred honorary Ph.D. degrees.
The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Dr. Nagesh Bhandari and Dr. Ritu Bhandari, President Secretariat of Indus University, Radhika Bhandari, Director Western India Institute of Aeronautics, members of the Board of Management, the Board of Governors, and eminent personalities from various fields.
