Gearing up to face the Assembly polls in 2021, Superstar Rajnikanth on Thursday unveiled his party’s three-point formula for a corruption-free government. He was speaking to the media at a specially convened meeting in Chennai on Thursday.

According to his party’s formula one, right from panchayat level to state level there exist over 50,000 posts of party functionaries. If each functionary is having 50 friends, relatives then their influence will rise to 25 lakh. This will certainly help the party to win in the hustings but will become a hindrance to the smooth functioning of the government as they will exert all kinds of pulls and pressures to get their work done. To avoid this and deliver good governance, post-polls all party posts, except a few to keep the party intact will be kept and others will be dissolved.
Secondly, honest, educated and youth below the age of 50 having a good reputation in the society and without any political link will be given 60% to 65% seats to contest in the polls. The rest of the seats will be given to retired IAS, IPS officials and judges with a clean record and intention to serve the common men. “My 45 years of experience and reputation in the cinema will be utilised as a bridge to send them to the Assembly,” Rajnikanth added.
Thirdly, there will be two different heads – one for the party and another for the government – for effective deliverance of poll promises and good governance. The party head will form a panel of experts from all fields to advise him/her on various schemes and will ensure its implementation through the government head.
“I never dreamt of becoming a CM. I had already revealed this in 1996. I will remain as a powerful party leader to guide a noble-minded, highly educated youth from any gender with self-respect as the CM with independent power. The party will not interfere in the administration but will remain as a guiding force. I appeal to all Tamils to support my mission to install a corruption-free, visionary government in Tamil Nadu to lead it on the path of progress and prosperity of all Tamils,” Rajnikanth added.
