The story of the film, Ranam- Aram Thavarel, revolves around murders and the mysteries behind them. Vaibhav, the hero, loses his memory and suffers for 2 years after his wife dies in an accident while traveling in a car. Vaibhav, who has a knack for painting dead and mutilated bodies, is able to find and solve many cases that the police cannot find
In this situation, charred parts of the body are lying here and there in Chennai. The police inspector who investigated the case suddenly disappears. Police Inspector Tanya Hope is entrusted the job of investigating the murder cases.

Vaibhav who is playing the hero has given an emotional performance. He has given a demonstration-free performance as per the story. Tanya Hope’s performance as the female inspector who quickly uncovers the background to the murders draws attention. The role of police inspector suits her perfectly.
Nandita Shweta has created pathos in the scene where she cries for the loss of her daughter. Although Saras Menon makes a brief appearance, she has been attracting fans with her beauty.
Director Sharif has directed the crime thriller story with a lively screenplay. A minor weakness is that the first half is fast paced and the story slows down a bit in the second half.
Carolian’s background music is mesmerizing. The songs are also well done. Cinematography by Balaji K Raja is delightful.
