The 8 decade-old realty promoter VGN in Chennai has on Thursday announced launching of VGN Classique – a first-of-its-kind Piped Natural Gas (PNG) powered villa plot project at Ambattur in Chennai.
The project spanning an expansive 10.50 acres of land and featuring a total of 252 premium residential plots is situated near Ambattur BSNL Telephone Exchange.

The residential villa plot project has many first-of-its- kind of features like PNG, Underground Drainage (UGD), storm water drain, underground cable powerline, metro water pipeline with no digging bitumen road etc. The storm water drain will have percolation water pits to augment Rain Water Harvesting (RWH), said D Kamalakkannan, Deputy General Manager – Channel Sales & Commercial Business and C S Jaiprabhu, Assistant Vice President – Business Operations of VGN.
They said that the villa plot project was approved by RERA. They vary in size from 753 to 1845 sqft, catering to diverse housing needs, such as luxury homes and villas. The plots are available at prices starting from Rs 67 lakhs to Rs 1.66 crore, they added.
The officials said, “The project is situated in close proximity to the telephone exchange building in Ambattur, and marks a significant milestone as the first development in the area to come up with Piped Natural Gas provision. VGN Classique boasts an extensive array of 20+ world-class community facilities, including a meticulously landscaped park, a sophisticated storm water drainage system for efficient rainwater management, hassle-free sewage collection, underground power and data cable infrastructure. This project follows a gated community model, ensuring round-the-clock security through CCTV surveillance.’’
Commenting on the launch of VGN Classique, VN Devados, Chairman and Managing Director, VGN Homes Pvt.
