AHMEDABAD, NOV 15
Rear Admiral Subir Mukherjee, NM, Admiral Superintendent Yard (Kochi) on Sunday reviewed the passing out parade of 172 trainees of Merged Electrical Artificer Training (MEAT) Course at INS Valsura, the premier Electrical training establishment of Indian Navy, says a release.
The training of these Artificers was conducted over 106 weeks, during which the trainees were exposed to a broad spectrum of technology subjects and state of the art equipment like Radars, Surface and Sub Surface Weapons, Electronic Warfare and Control Systems.
During Passing out Parade, Admiral awarded Admiral Ramnath Trophy for ‘Best All Round Sailor’ to Parveen EA(R)/APP & Commanding Officer, INS Valsura Trophy for ‘Best Sportsman’ to Lokesh EA(R)/ APP@indiannavy@NavalAcademy @NavalWarCollege @IndiaCoastGuard @ANI @dgpgujarat @BBC pic.twitter.com/BkW1AZxfN6

The Admiral complimented the trainees on successful completion of their professional training and reiterated that learning must be sustained so as to keep pace with the latest technological developments towards ensuring optimal maintenance on combat platforms of the Indian Navy.
During the Passing out Parade, the Admiral awarded the Admiral Ramnath Trophy for ‘Best All Round Sailor’ to Parveen EA(R)/APP and Commanding Officer, INS Valsura Trophy for ‘Best Sportsman’ to Lokesh EA(R)/ APP.
