Red Bull Athlete Kagiso Rabada, a South African international cricketer, addressed the virtual convocation of Parul University’s International students which was held on 1st February ’21.
Most of the international students were from South Africa and were surprised to be addressed by their favourite cricketer Kagiso Rabada.
Rabada shared a motivational message for the students of Vadodara’s Parul University, where he congratulated them for graduating and also wished them luck for their future. He said, “It has been a really tough year and I hope you take the same resilience and determination in your life from this moment. No doubt you will have as much success if not more”.
Red Bull Athlete Kagiso Rabada made his South African debut in November 2014 in limited-overs cricket before going on to make his Test debut in November 2015. By January 2018, he had topped both the ICC ODI bowler rankings and the ICC Test bowler rankings. In July 2018, he became the youngest bowler to take 150 wickets in Tests.
The Red Bull Athlete ended the 2020 IPL season by winning the purple cap as the best bowler of the tournament. His 30 wickets runs in 17 matches were just two short of the all-time league record for most wickets in a single season. He was part of a pace attack for Delhi that helped the team reach the finals of the tournament for the first time.
