The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Gujarat region, in association with Dholera Industrial City, is organizing a virtual conference on pharma & biotechnology that will bring together key speakers from the government and industry to share their insights on the changing landscape of pharma and biotechnology sectors in Covid-19 times and beyond, says a release.
The conference ‘Future of Pharma & Biotechnology: Sustaining Innovation beyond Pandemic’ will provide an interdisciplinary platform for all pharma and biotechnology value chain stakeholders to present recent innovations and trends and discuss practical challenges and solutions.
The focus areas of the conference include the future of vaccines, R&D challenges, Pharma 4.0 in biotechnology, robotics, digitalization and validation, and reshaping pharma for a new era.

Bangarurajan, Advisor, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Ministry of Health, Hareet Shukla, MD, Dholera Industrial City Development Limited, Government of Gujarat, Sudhir Vaid, CMD, Concord Biotech Ltd, Biswajit Mitra, Chief Mentoring Officer, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Ashwani Sood, Head, Zentiva India, and Dr. Mohit Sharma, Government Advisory, Healthcare, KPMG Advisory Services, are the key speakers for the conference.
The conference will take place from 1500 – 1730 hrs on Thursday, September 16.
